2) I just edited the save game to try to see what the Kegels skill does and set it to 99. I checked the skills and sex skills screen and BOTH Kegels and Dodge now read a skill of 99. I assume this is most likely just an issue for the skill, not the underlying mechanic

Comment: This is fixed in the next build but unfortunately it cannot be retroactively applied to existing equipment. The erroneous descriptions are generated when the EQ is randomly generated.

Status: Could not reproduce, what likely happened is the message window spawned and closed really quickly, so loot was likely gotten. While the message window works most of the time, once and awhile it seems to disappear near instantly (something I admit I haven't looked into thoroughly).

1. The fountain event which adds extra testicles does not do so. This was the case in 0.54 as well.
Status: Ambiguous: I modified the script in this event to use more recent methods of discerning whether or not the player has a pair of testicles. Previously this script used an obsolete way of detecting if the player had or did not have testicles. Hopefully this change fixes this event.

1.) Having displayed 3 gynocomorphos potions and after using 1 lost 2 of them with only 1 effect, using one 2 gets you only 1 effect and consumes all 3 potions, using 3 gets me only one effect and consumes all as well.

5.)Reloading another game leave you with the option of the last area even if the area your loaded character is isn't the same, pressing main menu twice resolves it but its still loading bug.

6.)After loading and clearly appearing you have successively brewed a gynocomorphos potions the potion did not appear in the inventory, the second potion brewed after this one appears(creating a different one before and then creating the gyno potion still make the first disappear).

8.)Every time you take a bath and get arousal boost you always get +5 3 times, wasn't this supposed to be random from 5 to 15?

1.) When fighting the Pure One there is a chance of a lock-up when the player gets confused. It's happened twice, both times with the text reading something like, "you hide in the rubble, cracks in the ground, and hope the Pure One will not find you." Both times these popped up when I was in close combat, and both times the result was all the buttons stopped being active.

2.) The second one is rarer. When selling a particular bow an error appeared, and once it appeared the game slowly lost functionality. Every additional sale resulted in the same error, and while you could leave the equipment window, once you did the store window would not respond. I think it was a second-tier short bow, but I'm not entirely certain.
Status: This bug cannot be confirmed for this build as I made drastic changes to how equipment is saved / loaded. While it seems stable to me it may still be buggy next build.
I didn't have that same problem, though I did encounter a problem where I farmed too many "random weapons" from the merchant in the field, overwriting every armor slot as one of the weapons and essentially dropping my armors. Dunno if that's an old issue or anything, but oh well.
ReplyDeleteI'm conferming concerned's bug report however i've been having it happen since 0.54a and also when i buy random accesorys {forgive my bad spelling} i get nothing given to me also you may want to check weather or not people are useing a 64 bit or 32 bit as some times with visual basic and c++ glithes can occer on one and not the other

I've been using 32-bit, I'm not sure if I can easily make separate versions but if I can I will. (I have a 64-bit os myself, just figured 32bit was best for comparability for now)

ReplyDeleteIn a fairly new game, with no equipment I walked to the government offices and saved the game
1. I picked the compensation package
2. did not like it so loaded game
3. picked again
now I had both gears from before the save and the new package. Also the default gear (boot, shirt etc) were duplicated
note if you exit game, re-run and pick a package then it works ok. Just seem to happen if you use the load game via right click menu

DeleteAnother issue with load game not properly resetting:
Delete- Go to the hospital / solutions ward.
- Remove something (all balls for example). Now balls are gone from the list
- Reload
-> Balls not available in the list although you have some.
It's fixed with quitting the game / reloading.
But there is an issue with loading nor properly resetting everything I guess.
Cmac, I'm glad you posted here as I hope to garner some additional information. The load bug should be easily fixable but I'm curious as to what is causing huge duplication. What OS are you using?

One thing I just tried and reporduced this issue was
Deletea) start a new game
b) save the game in the same folder as the game is installed when prompted to save the game at the end of character design
b) walk to residential streets
c) Look Around
I loaded and repeated this multiple times and no equipment duplication
d) returned home, slept for 8 hrs
e) walked to government offices
f) save game
g) got compensation package, reloaded, and repeated multiple times
NO issue here, gear did not duplicate or package gear carry over between saves
NOW
h) reload and save game to a DIFFERENT folder, in my case to the standard Saved Games folder
i) get package
j) reload
NOW the standard items like pant etc have multiple duplicates
Note:
I saved as p3, and in the Saved Games folder there was a file
p3.psav
BUT
in the game installation folder there was
p3.peqdb
The previous saves in the game instalation folder had both files. Maybe it is an issue with this file folder separation?
For a test I moved the p3.peqdb file to the Saved Games folder, re-ran game and loaded p3. The got the package, and then reloaded -- and NO equipment duplication!!
note: been playing a bit, and keeping the save game in the same folder as the game, and not a single issue with equipment

Is it a bug, or is this intended (as in the male whore/female character fuck option is not in the game?)
ReplyDeleteThe fuck option is not available for a female character. When I was working on the sex system waaaay back I made it only open to characters possessing a cock. I eventually will add the female version of this event.

Thanks for finding some more bugs :D. The option to actually perform there is not yet available (something that a lot of people want for sure) but there are still some additional actions to explore, they may be on the wiki.
DeleteI heard one other player mention a sewer crash, I think it was related to the trap window if I remember correctly.
Not sure why, but when I encounter the random merchant on the highway and select the "random accessory" option I get charged 500 but I get no item.

DeleteMost of the comments I had are already above, but there are a few things which have been going on the last couple builds to draw your attention to.
ReplyDelete1. The fountain event which adds extra testicles does not do so. This was the case in 0.54 as well.
2. Using a foxglove when you have more than two in your inventory still removes 2 of them. I didn't test it on other items, but it seems to be consistent on the foxglove.
3. Some of the text informing the player that the fountain event has reached it's limit occurs before that happens. I've noticed it most on breast size that it will say that the event can no longer increase the size, and then later on, without a reduction, the same event does so. I've only noticed this on the fountain, but it may be true for other events as well.
I am liking the second tier of loot. With a maxed-out character it isn't hard to beat the Pure One. I like the way the game rates the opponents as easy, average or hard.
I would suggest that you take a second look at the alligator. When it does hit, it does a lot of damage, so maybe it should be rated a little harder than it is. But that's your call.
It's nice to see progress. Keep up the good work.

I'm happy to hear you say that about the Pure One, it was sort of meant to be the hardest encounter in the new area. How would you rate the fight on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of difficulty as a maxed out character?
DeleteAlso, I will look into the alligator. My intention with it actually was to be a really powerful, hard hitting monster that was easy to escape from (so if you saw one you'd be like: "Oh shit, one of those! I'm just going to bolt.")
Heh, I rarely try to run from an encounter, so maybe the alligator is fine.
DeleteI encountered the Pure One at two different levels while testing. When the character is city maxed, i.e. 20 strength, agility, stamina, melee, ranged, and dodge, and all leather armor, it was clear that there was no way I could defeat the Pure One. At that level the encounter was a 10.
After farming fountains to get the strength up into the 40's and getting melee combat into the upper 30's with other road encounters the next encounter with the Pure One went much better. I'd put it around a 5 difficulty, not a pushover like the rouges in the backwater district, but not a huge worry.
BTW, as I think about it, I never encountered the Futabus while I was playing along the roads. That seems a little strange, but it could simply have been bad luck.
And, one more thing, I suspect this is in the works at some point as well, but the Air Blast spell doesn't seem to move the enemies further away. That is, if the enemy is closing, like the Pure One does, and you take a shot with your bow, then cast Air Blast which sends them flying (if it doesn't fizzle), the next melee round they have reached melee range. It would be cool, although it may unbalance the combat a bit, if Air Blast pushed them back one range level. It's just a thought.

DeleteSeems like everything is about where I intended though when I do introduce more specials / spells I intend to make the Pure One and Futabus encounter more difficult. I actually thought they both would be near impossible to beat right now but I guess they are slightly weaker then intended...but this is fine for now as the means for defeating them at the appropriate difficulty aren't available.
The Futabus is a rare encounter only on the 30th mile of the highway, but it shouldn't be so rare that you never run into her so it could be a bug.
Also the Air Blast spell you are describing sounds like a bug, it should in fact push foes backwards.
Finally, you highlighted that you needed to grind strength via the fountain. The fountain is supposed to be a rare event diluted by a myriad of other highway events. You've somewhat highlighted that I need to add more events to raise strength as well as other attributes.

Im having a problem with an event , when you go to the skinny dipping and encounter the elf , if you click on ignore the elf , the game opens all sorts of tabs and then crashes.

-Continuous search in your dresser in madams Mamrya's wields a extreme quantity of duplicated items.

-Stranger in river text appears with "...takes you to river_1 and river_2" this wasn't supposed to be here. Also in the refused reward text appeared "you mysterious cock cock" it should be a normal(human) one.
-setting camp in any mile of the high way will not fully recharge your fp not mentioning the penalties if the time is 8 am or pm and you have the corresponding mark on your sleep.
-After closing the game to main menu and re-loaded the same game (i am sure i saved before this) i lost many equipment pieces this ones including: all helmets, all arms, all accessory's and pants. On the melee wep i now have double fists and on the following the first 2 items are marked with the same number(that's what might have been overwritten): head, legs, hands. On a older save the those items are still there.
suggestions:
-gynocomorphos potions should remove balls.
-after you press the button go to sleep there should be the time where it actually is so you know what time it is and how much you will sleep. this way you don't have to keep swapping until you know exactly what you want to do.
-On equipment menu it would be much more easy to use if it was a pop down window instead of a 2 wide slide scrolling list.
-Rocks or in other words your basic range attack should describe its effective range.
-You can only sell equipment in the general store but not in the weapon and armor shop.
Hope this will help, i will keep a eye open for more.
Hiya tacoking its me Slater again, i just wanted to point out that the same bug is still occurring regarding the magnum bubbles and jizz leaves [mentioned this on the FP forum ;)]
ReplyDeleteAnother "bug" is sometimes when i go to the park at night and choose to go to an orgy, it will sometimes play the event where i apparently don't have a cock despite my character being a futa.
This is more of another suggestion of mines than a bug (my other suggestions are on the suggestions page if you haven't seen them already) with the popup information box that tells you of any increase/decrease of a stat or body part. After you go to sleep the popup doesn't automatically close unless you perform another action/event that makes the popup appear (even though its already open) but then after that it shortly autocloses. This gets annoying sometimes when i try browse my items and the popup window is on top of the items window so i cannot see my items unless i manually close it.
Can't start the game, the conversion from 63.5 to decimal isn't correct

Still it's awesome to see you jumping on the bugs and working diligently to fix them. I've seen a few of these games where the devs simply get overwhelmed by the needed fixes and quit so it's great to see you diving right in like this. Thanks for the game and your continued hard work!

ReplyDeleteI've played 0.57a a couple times, yes there are a few bugs in it, but I really enjoyed the encounters at the middle part of the road. In the 30th milestone if I recall correctly.
