59TestA -- Option A has been answered

Please Note this build is not guaranteed to work on your computer.

Very High Bugs: Crashes Are NOT Unusual

EDIT From TK: This build is extremely unstable. I only really recommend it for people who want to get a peak at what to expect from the new UI. Do not download it for normal play, it'll just be frustrating ^_^.

EDIT From Teraunce: For bug reporting purposes this is a Development Build. Also the red X on minimize issue is known.

Remember, Click on the bug reports label to submit bugs. Above leads to the game.

Archive MD5 hash is 3F3207FCFA4DC063090F3C379DFA6332 , game exe's MD5 is inside the archive in readme.txt. The archive is a self-extracting ACE archive as the exe is 30% larger uncompressed.

  1. Wait what? All the people said B in the comments tho...unless there was a poll somewhere and I missed it.

  2. Sorry for any confusion Hybrid, it's still B :P I was basically asking if people wanted me to keep going and finish it all, or stop after the main screen and slowly finish the rest.

That said, Teraunce has joined the team to help with uploads and organizing bug reports. Anytime he feels is a good time to upload a test build (so you guys can check out what I'm working on) he's free to do so. Option B was referenced the next far stabler official build. Anything b/w the last build (0.58.1a) and the next stable build is a development build put online by Teraunce for bug hunters or people who just want to see what I'm working on. Hope this clears up any confusion :D

    2. As per what TK said, this build is for those who wanted option A and want to see the new UI. I've read from bug reports that it is stable enough to run, just weird freaky bugs might be encountered. I need to discuss it with TK, but since this is such a major change, I'm suggesting the 59a series be test builds only, with the next stable build being 60a. usually the naming scheme is going to be XXa->XXDevXa->XXa. This test build is a development build for bug reporting purposes.

  3. The new UI hurts my eyes; it's hard to see what's going on, and the movement compass doesn't really show very well where you can go. It also makes my not-that-old machine slow to a crawl. :(
