Terms
of Agreement/Restrictions
YOU MUST READ AND FOLLOW ALL OF THE ToA OR YOU WILL BE VERY, VERY SORRY!!!!!!
1)
You absolutely MUST provide compelling evidence
in order to be eligible for earning and redeeming Pornarium Points.
This
means:
A.
Taking screenshots
that must show your username your
post, and the date/time. Easiest way to do this is to take a full-screenshot while highlighting your post. I must be able to see the post's URL clearly. Here is an example of a PP-earning screenshot.
· To take a screenshot, press the print key screen, paste into MS paint, and save as either .png or .jpeg. Or you can use this freeware software to take screenshots.
B. You also may want to create a web archive in case the web page 404's.
C. Insufficient evidence, such as "I said
I did it, give me points"= 0 PP & no rewards.
D. Try
to keep consistent usernames b/w sites to prevent confusion during
auditing process.
E. On
anonymous user sites (4chan, 7chan, etc) you will need to use a name with a password for auditing purposes
2)
To redeem your PP for a reward, send an archive
of your screenshots, web archives, and/or images/bug-reports to hawtstuff33@gmail.com for auditing.

Subject line should be what reward you're
redeeming, i.e. "NPC Commission."
o
Body of
e-mail should include relevant details (outlines, commission specifics)
o
If you are including bug reports/images, archive
those separately from screenshots & links/web archives.
3)
PP are non-transferrable/non-tradable &
are used up when redeemed for PP Rewards
4)
PP Reward costs are non-negotiable and are subject
to change depending on how much specific rewards strain our volunteers, are
purposely abused, and/or interfere with releasing builds.
5)
PP Reward Terms are only subject to change due to unforeseeable loopholes or unintended
miswordings in terms. A joint project/fan committee will hear each cases and
collectively decide if the reward term is deemed misworded if such a conflict arises.
6)
Max # of pending
commissions = 5
o
Any other commissions must wait in queue.
§ Based on current
workload, queued commissions may wait an additional 1- 6 weeks after all
pending commissions end. This gives us breathing room to finish anything else
that needs taking care of in the project.
7)
In regards to picking Pornarium Friday Night
Live Games, the first person to redeem that PP reward will choose for that
month only, and cannot do so again the next month
8)

9)
Long-term artists and writers may post links
to their profiles from other sites, and post their stories/artwork on our blog,
but they may NOT directly post
material that is on our forbidden content

Pornarium Point Rewards

small detail into already existing event [1 paragraph]. Event writer must

10 PP - Pick PFNL game
for that week (see restrictions above).

short addition to an already existing event [2-3 paragraphs]. Event writer must
consent to additions.
20 PP - (One time buy)
From now on, you will receive early access to new events a day before that
build is released to the public.
25 PP - Commission a
long addition to an already existing event [1-2 page(s)] Event writer must
consent to additions.
30 PP - Commission any
item or spell of your choice.
50 PP - Commission a
whole event in a pre-existing location.
75 PP - Commission a
fuckable NPC or Monster (may or may not include sex scenes).
100 PP - Request a
feature. If Taco likes it and agrees, then it will be given high or top
priority. You will also receive e-mail notices on progress of said feature.
If we don't accept your feature your PP will be fully refunded.
150 PP - (one time buy)
From now on you will get the privilege of receiving internal builds for the
purposes of bug testing and gain
access to our bug-reporting matrix.

If you leak builds,
you will lose all previously earned privileges and be banned from earning
future PP points.
200 PP Commission a
quest or a series of mini-side events. You must
provide a basic rough outline of what you want to have happen during it, the more
specific the better (i.e. what skills are being used, what happens when &
why) We will supplement all other additional writing PLUS you will receive
e-mail notices on its progress. Priority will be either medium or high
depending on current volunteer staff working capability.
300 PP - Commission a
new location with minimum 3 long events included. You must provide specific
background and theme about said location, as well as any details about its
events. Priority will be either low or medium, but you will receive
weekly e-mail notices about its progress.
400 PP - Commission a
personalized erotic short story (1-3 pages) from HS or any other willing
volunteer writer.
500 PP - Commission a
personalized hentai or porn video compilation from HS.
1,000
PP - Receive pre-paid voucher for the purchase of any Steam or Origin
game costing ≤$30, OR commission
any artist for a sketch/illustration costing ≤$30 of your choice.
2,000
PP - Receive pre-paid voucher for the purchase of any Steam or Origin
game costing ≤$60, OR

DeleteThats really sad. Cause crowdfunding for such project, from my perspective, could improve motivation for people who do the majority of specialized work, that can't be done by any guy from street (like coding).
DeleteAnd it kinda silly when I can help project by spending my time, but I can't help it via money that I earn spending my time on hard-working.
I understand, though it has always been a decision of mine since the very start that I did not ever want this project to become donation based. I'm happy to have the help of the community (you guys are awesome), especially with bugs and the sort.
DeleteThis system is Hawtstuff's idea, I think his main goal is trying to spread awareness and create incentives for writers. I'm not going to get involved in the process of keeping track of points as I simply do not have the time nor energy to do such a thing, but I am willing to implement requests of people who have accumulated a lot of points.
This also doesn't mean that I won't implement suggestions or listen to anyone's feedback if they don't have some sort of point value attached to them, I'm just going to keep doing what I always do and continue to improve the game, it may not always be at as fast a pace as I'd like but I'm never going to stop :)
To be fair, anyone who works on this project is like family to me. Yes, I've put in an average of 12 hours a week for the past 2 weeks, but so what? Everyone who volunteers time to this project plays just as an essentially important part to the team.
ReplyDeleteI, nor Taco, would be comfortable accepting donations since it would be like stealing from our volunteers, or in my case those who I consider dear friends. Does this make sense? We do this for you guys, not money =P
You can pay artist to draw/modify picture (example) with those money, not take it to spend on yourself.
DeleteBut ok, it's your decision after all, still, there are ways to spend money on community project.
This might be stretching it a bit.. but maybe if ppl really wanted to go that route, they could commision an artist themself. Artist draws picture, game gets picture, then person who paid for the comission would get the pp for adding a new picture to the game. Guess the same could go for writing. Sounds win, win content wise for the game. Thoughts?

DeletePlease note, dear friends, that none of the previously mentioned applies in any way to the Wiki. So don't start doing edits and then fish for points. The wiki exists as a separate entity to the game and its related content.

Does that mean that you are currently delaying builds even though they're ready to be released?
Here's what usually happens.
DeleteTaco makes some major changes to the parser, fixes stuff and as soon as he's done with said changes immediately posts a build. He lets me know ahead of time about when he will be done.
Meanwhile, I do a final run-through of any events that have been passed by Nabiki before giving them to Taco to include in his build. Since I usually finish all of the final reviews before Taco finishes his work, the new events wait for a short period before Taco creates a build.
tl;dr there are no intentional delays :)
These are often unfinished and broken so I don't really recommend anyone get in on these :P
